WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH

Yes, its a difficult time especially for many people who aren't able to work or have anyone to take care of their children . Or just don't have the resources they need. I thunk the best think to do at this time is to not panic, unfortunately because of the media and so many things it has caused for many to go into panic mode. An example can be like how there are literally tons of people standing in line at 4am so they can be the first to enter a store. I find it disturbing how people are hoarding everything.

Great Gatsby

1. I feel that Gatsby is not really a bad person, he just fell for the wrong person. He tried so hard to get what he desire but at the end it didn’t work hard. An example, can be when Daisy ran over the lady and Gatsby wanted to take the blame, because he thought he loved Daisy.
2. I think this means that Daisy and Tom don’t care how they treat others or how them mess up things as long as they’re happy. And if they do something they have other people take care of their problems . Like when Gatsby was going to take the blame so it wouldn’t affect Daisy.
4.I don’t agree with Daisys choices or behavior. She wouldn’t be a person I would want anybody I care for date.

Chapter 8 the Great Gatsby

Nick suggested that he should go away.
They made love and Gatsby fell so hard for Daisy.
He mentions the pool because it’s autumn and all the leaves fall into the pool, which signifies something dying. So when the leaves fall in the pool and the pool is drain it can mean death.
Wilson went after Gatsby and shot him, he then killed himself.

Chapter 7

Something that happened during this chapter was that Daisy ran over Mrs.Wilson. Gatsby wanted to take the blame for Daisy and protect her even though Daisy want feeling what he was feeling.
Tom and Daisy are trying to come up with ways so Daisy doesn’t get caught.

Notes and thoughts on Gatsby

I think the author included the "raining" part to make it seem more mysterious.
The rain can also represent the feeling inside the room. For example, first it was raining, then sunny than there was mud everywhere. Representing the emotions and feelings going through the awkward get together

Gatsby pp

“People disappeared, reappeared , made plans to go somewhere , and the lost each other - ...
Many people can call this a run on sentence but the author wrote it like that so we can have an Idea in our heads.

Argue this

Syllogism: Simplest Form of a Logical Argument
•Major Premise
• Minor
• conclusion
Truth: something we can factionally verify
Validity: Do premises support conclusion?///can be true and valid

Big Question: Why so many of us still stereotype people?
Syllogism: We have sorts of ideas of people without knowing them
Major Premise: Those ideas are false
Minor: we still have those ideas and stereotype people
Conclusion:

Luminal: Refers to a state of being, what you are when you are no longer what you use to be but not where you wanna be

What’s in my Big Question

When I first decided on my big question, I thought about a summer camp I went to where we talked about all the isms. So I knew I wanted to so something with that. Then I remembered talking about stereotypes and how when we meet someone we automatically kinda judge them. So I was just curious and why does our mind do that, so I decided to make it my big question.
